Patshull House & Gardens
12th February 2008

Following the trail of one's ancestors can lead to visiting some most interesting places. Richard Salter was employed as Poultry Man at Patshull House for over 20 years at the end of the 19th century. He lived with his wife and 5 children in the Poultry Yard. One of his sons, William went to find work in Birmingham and became a policeman. In 1894 William Married Charlotte Jane, my recently widowed 2nd great grandmother.
